Idée d’jour

A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a university education, he may steal the whole railroad.
— Theodore Roosevelt, Twenty-sixth US president (1858-1919)
Somehow, this seems like a variant on Woodie Guthrie's famous line that some will rob you with a six gun, and some with a fountain pen.
