Recommended Reading

Brother Dave e-mailed the text of this poem, "Instructions Against War." Without a doubt, it qualifies as a poem I wish I had written.

Here's the first stanza, as a sample:
put down your flaming, burnished spear
unmask your vicious threats
reveal your white-hot rage for fear
cast off your harsh regrets
The poem, as you'll see, is by Maya Stein. I've skimmed the remainder of her page, and have found many more poems and quotes worth reading.
